Celebrations at Ballymacash
All ages came together for the celebrations, whi ch included a family fun day followed by the lighting of the bonfire in the evening.
During the day, families flocked to Rathvarna Drive green, the site of the bonfire, and there was definitely something for everyone.

Hide AdThe kids had the chance to climb on board some military vehicles, as well as a fire engine and they had the chance to meet some of Lisburn’s own firefighters, who came along to0 enjoy the day.
There were also bouncy castles, face painting, a water slide, some treats from Minnie and Mickey Mouse and plenty of music.
In the evening, there was a concert with some local musical talent, including Pretty Cartel and the Titanics, amongst others.
An estimated two thousand people gathered for the lighting of the bonfire and everyone agreed the event was a great success.
