Central Primary’s coffee morning boost for hospice

A coffee morning at Carrickfergus Central Primary School has raised £503.65 for Northern Ireland Hospice.

A representative from the charity visited the school to receive the cheque following last month’s fundraier which was attended by family and members of the community.

Cailin Hardy, NI Hospice, explained that half of the money would be used to buy resources for the the Children’s Hospice and the remainder to purchase special pillows for the adults in NI Hospice.

Principal Nuala Hall extended thanks to everyone who contributed to this worthy cause.
