Clifford's Run raises £15,000 for Macmillan
Clifford’s Run was held at The Scenic Inn in May in memory of an ‘absolute gentleman and good friend’, Clifford Kerr.
Clifford from Corkey was a regular customer at The Scenic and underwent treatment at the Macmillan Unit before he sadly passed away aged just 41.

Hide AdIn a join statement from the Kerr and Christie family, they thanked everyone adding ‘Clifford would have been proud’.
“We would like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to everyone who attended Clifford’s Run on Saturday, May 21 at the Scenic Inn.
“As all of you know it was a brilliant day and the amount raised was a massive £15,020.
“Clifford would have been so proud to see the turn out on the day and the time and effort that was put into the event in memory of him.

“Also we can not forget the super team of Clifford’s friends who were behind us supporting all the way.
“Thank you goes to Paul McAuley, Kevin Brown, Barry Mullan and Sean Reid without your support Clifford’s Run would not have been the success it was, and also to everyone who donated or helped in anyway.
