Countrybound lane of M1 closed after third crash of day

The M1 is closed westbound between Moira and Lurgan after what is the third significant accident on the motorway today.

Police say motorists travelling westbound should expect “significant delays” to their journey after a “serious” crash involving three cars.

They have advised motorists to exit the motorway before Moira.

There were two accidents on the M1 earlier today, with one near Lisburn causing very long delays.
