A person found asleep in the back of a car was arrested on suspicion of Driving/In charge of a vehicle whilst unfit through Drink/Drugs.

A person found asleep in the back of a car was arrested on suspicion of Driving/In charge of a vehicle whilst unfit through Drink/Drugs.

The arrest came after police had received several complaints of a Black Kia all over the road on Thursday (July 29), the vehicle was located by ANPR Interceptor Team officers in the Lawrencetown area.

In a separate incident a Grey BMW was stopped by officers in the ABC, the passenger was wanted by police and arrested on Suspicion of Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm (AOABH), Criminal damage, Threats to destroy/damage property (x2), Theft, Misuse of Public Electronic Communication Networks (x3) and Witness intimidation.
