Drugs were seized by police after they detected a strong smell coming from a car in Cookstown.

A PSNI spokesperson said the vehicle was stopped in Burn Road.

“The smell coming from it was something to behold.

“Searches of those in the vehicle uncovered Class B drugs, follow up property searches then found additional Class A and B.

“A number of individuals spent the evening in custody after being arrested. Next stop court.”
