Information sought by PSNI on cars

Police at Strand Road are appealing for information about criminal damage that was caused to a car.

The black Mercedes was scored and its tyres slashed in the incident at Ardgrange, Springtown Road. The cost of the damage has been estimated at £4,000.

And Police are investigating the theft of a car from the Drumahoe area.

The day grey Audi Q5 was stolen from Fincairn Cottage Square between 11pm on Tuesday, may 20 and 7am the next day.

On Wednesday, May 21, it was recovered at Bracken Park in the Galliagh area. Anyone who saw it being stolen, driven or abandoned is asked to contact police. Information can be given on the police non-emergency number 101.
