Man (21) to appear in court after ‘prolonged domestic-related assault’
A man (21) is due to appear in court this morning after an incident described as ‘a prolonged domestic-related assault’.
The incident is said to have happened on Saturday afternoon in Portadown, Co Armagh.
Police said: “A 21-year-old man is due to appear before Lisburn Magistrates’ Court today, Monday May 10th, charged with a number of offences.
“The charges relate to an incident in the North Way, Portadown on Saturday May 8th.
“The man has been charged with a number of offences including criminal damage, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and threats to kill.
“As is usual procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).”
