Man (37) charged with child sex offences

A man has been charged with sex offences against a child under 13, the PSNI has revealed.

The 37 year old has been charged with two counts of causing or inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity.

He is due to appear at Lisburn Magistrates court this morning.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “As is usual procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.”

It is understood the charges follow a report to police in the Lurgan area on 5 March.

There are no further details.
