Man (50) charged with sexual assault in relation to Newcastle incident

A 50-year-old man has been charged with two counts of assaulting an ambulance worker and two counts of sexual assault.

The charges relate to an incident in Newcastle on Friday, July 28. He is expected to appear before Downpatrick Magistrates Court on Thursday, August 24.

As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
