Police advice over scam DVLA text

Police have issued a warning over a scam text purporting to come from the DVLA.

They advised anyone receiving the text offering a refund to just delete it and do not click on the link.

An officer said: “When you click on it you’ll be asked for personal details in a legitimate looking website, but it’s a fake made to look legit.”
