Police appeal after assault

Around 9.30pm an 18-year-old man was assaulted across from the entrance to Drumellan by four males. He sustained injuries to his shoulder and face. Other people were in the area at the time.

One of the attackers is described as being approximately 18 years old, tall and well built with short, black hair and a local accent.

Another of the attackers is described as being approximately 14 years old, under five foot tall with short, black hair and a thin face. He was of slim build.

There are no descriptions available for the other attackers.
