Potato crop theft
POLICE in Coleraine are appealing for information following the theft of potatoes from an allotment on the Coleraine Road, Kilrea, during the early hours of Sunday, August 28.
It was reported that the potatoes, which were weeks away from harvesting, were excavated from the ground sometime between 11pm on Saturday, August 27 and the early hours of the next day.
Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or who has any information is asked to contact police at Coleraine on 0845 600 8000.
