Power tools stolen during burglaries in NI town

The PSNI has urged people to be on alert after power tools were stolen during a number of burglaries.

The incidents happened in the Beaumount Avenue area of Portadown (just off the Lurgan Road) on Sunday night/Monday morning.

A PSNI spokesperson said the burglaries happened between midnight and around 6am.

“Some power tools were stolen from a shed, and a van was also broken into.

“If you were in the area and saw something, please get in touch via 101 giving reference 369 of 16th November 2020 or anonymously via crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

“Remember to check you sheds and outbuildings regularly and ensure they are secure.”
