Witness appeal after lorry driver taken to hospital

The PSNI has issued a witness appeal after a lorry driver was taken to hospital following a crash in Portadown.

The incident happened on Portadown’s Northway on Monday evening.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “We are currently investigating the circumstances of a road traffic collision on the Northway, Portadown on Monday 29 March 2021 at approximately 6.55pm.

“The driver of the vehicle involved was removed to hospital for treatment.

“Part of our investigative procedures will include an analysis of a blood sample.

“If you witnessed this collision and were not spoken to at the time please contact us and quote reference number 1678 of 29/03/21.”
