The annual CIDO lecture hosted by the Rotary Club of Portadown was held recently at the Seagoe Hotel.

This event is part of Rotary’s commitment to youth, and is given by a young business person with the aim of inspiring students to think about starting their own businesses.

The speaker on this occasion was Danny Turley, of Performa Sports. Danny gave his audience an insight into how he has developed his company which he describes as a powerful, easy–to–use performance analysis tool designed for analysts, coaches and players to improve performance.

There was a large attendance of students and teaching staff from Craigavon Senior High School, Drumcree College, Lismore Comprehensive, Portadown College and St Ronan’s College, Lurgan.

The Rotary Club of Portadown said it was indebted to CIDO (Craigavon Industrial Development Organisation) for their continued generosity in sponsoring this “invaluable contribution to the future vocational journey of the youth in our society”.
