Deaths in the community

The death took place of Ann Patterson, late of Mourne Road, Lurgan, on December 3.

She was the wife of Bobby and mother of Nicola, Jacqueline and the late Lindsay.

A service took place on Friday in Malcomson’s Funeral Home followed by interment in Magheralin Parish Churchyard.

Billy Gordon

The death took place on December 5, peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital, of William (Billy) Gordon of Kilwilke Gardens.

He was the husband of the late Eileen, father of Gary and Julie, grandfather of Catherine, Maeve, Ryan and Ronan and father-in-law of Anne and Conor,

His funeral was on Monday from his late residence to St Peter’s Church.

Tomas McAlinden

The death took place on December 6, peacefully at home of Tomas McAlinden, 
Colane, Aghagallon.

He was the son of Tommy and Oonagh and brother of Emma, Conleth and the late infants Katy and Caitlin, grandson of Gerard and Betty McStravick and Philomena and the late Tommy McAlinden.

Funeral from his home on Tuesday to St Patrick’s Church, Aghagallon with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Madeline Doyle

The death took place on December 6, suddenly at Craigavon Area Hospital, of Madeline Doyle (nee O’Hagan), Riverglade Manor.

She was the wife of Terry, mother of Finbar, Cathy, Michael, Gregory, Colm 
and Terry,

Her funeral was on Wednesday from her late residence to St Paul’s Church with interment afterwards in St Colman’s Cemetery.

May Thompson

The death took place on December 7, peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital, of Mary (May) Thompson, Manor Park, Lurgan.

She was the mother of Conor and Colin, grandmother of Meabh, Ellen, Oonagh, Jake, Alfie and Charlie, and sister of Veronica and Ita.

Her funeral was from her home on Wednesday to St Paul’s Church with burial afterwards in St 
Colman’s Cemetery.

Andrew Chambers

The death took place on December 7 of Andrew George Chambers, Burren 
Close, Lurgan.

He was the father of Steven, Chris and fiancee Rachel, partner of Lorraine, step-father of Jordan, son of Sandra and the late Noel, and brother of Joanne and her husband Jay.

His house and funeral was private at his request.
