Deaths in the community

The death took place peacefully at Craigavon Hospital of Bernadette Bannon, formerly of Craigavon.

She was the wife of the late Patrick and mother of Thomas, John, Patricia, Conrad and the late Peter. She was the sister of Colette and Pauline and the late Edward, Theresa, Cissie, Muriel, Sean and Patsy.

Her funeral was on Thursday to St Anthony’s Church followed by interment in Aughisafin Cemetery, Castlewellan.

Frank O’Hagan

On January 29, the death took place peacefully at Craigavon Hospital of Frank O’Hagan of Wellington Street, Lurgan.

He was the husband of Dorothy and father of Janet, Caroline, Pauline, Joan and Sonya and grandfather of Julianne, Joseph, Andrew, Alexander, Oisin and Aifria.

Her funeral was on Friday to St Peter’s Church followed by interment at St Colman’s Cemetery.

Gertie Hewitt

The death took place on February 1 of Gertie Hewitt of Pollock Drive, Lurgan.

She was the wife of the late Jim and mother of Ruth, Anne and the late Florence.

Her funeral was on Tuesday from her home to Lurgan Cemetery.

Mark Wing

The death took place suddenly on February 1 at his home of Mark William Wing of Avenue Road, Lurgan.

He was the son of Andy and Margaret, father of Ellie and Tyler and brother of Chris, Adam and Becky.

His funeral was on Wednesday followed by interment in Lurgan Cemetery.
