A young woman who had “far too much drink taken” was fined £150 last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for disorderly behaviour on July 3 this year.
Moneen Creaney, (22), Woodside Green, Portadown, was also ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.
As well she was bound over in the sum of £400 to keep the peace and be of good behaviour for 12 months.
The court heard that at 8.40pm at Portadown railway station two people were causing a disturbance.
A co-accused, a male, was shouting loudly and swearing and after being abusive to police he was arrested.
Creaney told police ‘f--k you’ and ‘f--k off’. She could not be arrested at the time but was told she would be reported.
Referring to her record District Judge, Mr Mervyn Bates, said she had entries for disorderly behaviour in 2010 and 2011 and probation had been attempted on two occasions.
A solicitor representing Creaney said she would apologise to the constable and members of the public for her behaviour.
“She simply had far too much drink taken,” he added.
