Young people of the Waringstown Basement Youth Centre have been highly commended by Ulster Unionist candidate for Upper Bann Jo-Anne Dobson.
The Assembly candidate spoke extremely highly of the youth group after attending an evening they had organised.
The young people in the group organised an event called ‘Generations Collide’ which was held at Waringstown Primary School and was attended by 130 guests from the local community.
Praising the young people after the event Mrs Dobson said: “In Waringstown we can all be so proud of the young people of the Basement Youth Centre.
“They took on a huge task of organising an evening to bring together people from across the local community and they did it so successfully!” said Mrs Dobson
“Well done to Eden Coffee House for the catering and to the young people for all their hard work and for their vision for the future of Waringstown,” said the Ulster Unionist candidate.
