When police attended a domestic disturbance in Portadown, a drunken woman twice kicked one police officer and twice spat in the face of another officer.
Claira Joanne Faulkner (44) of Twinem Court, Portadown, appeared last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court.
She admitted four assaults on police and resisting police on March 3 this year.
The court heard that at 10.40pm police went to an ongoing domestic disturbance in Portadown and on arrival they spoke to the defendant and another person. Both were heavily intoxicated.
Police separated the defendant and her husband into different rooms.
Faulkner then lunged forward and pushed a constable in the face with both hands.
She also kicked out, striking him on the legs before she spat into the face of another officer.
In the police vehicle she again kicked the constable she had kicked before and again spat in the face of the other officer.
District Judge, Mr Mervyn Bates, said that the kicking and spitting were aggravating features and adjourned the case until June 3 so that a pre-sentence report could be obtained.
