Extras needed for George Best Story

Would you like to appear in Northern Ireland’s most successful musical Dancing Shoes - The George Best Story?

Would you like to work with some of the finest acting and creative talent in Northern Ireland on the Grand Opera House stage?

Well here is your chance!!!!

Dancing Shoes is looking for a number of extras to appear in this hit show. No experience is needed although it would be helpful. They are looking both men and women aged between 20 and 40.

The show will rehearse from July 27 and opens in the Grand Opera House, Belfast on August 19, closing August 29.

If you think you have the talent to appear in the show and also the time to commit (you need to attend several rehearsals and be free for all nights of the run) then please send an up to date photo and a little bit of information about yourself to [email protected] closing date for applications is Monday, July 6, and auditions will take place on Wednesday, July 15.

Dancing Shoes - The George Best Story, tells of the turbulent and colourful life of one of the greatest footballers the world has ever seen.

From his childhood days kicking a tennis ball against a gable wall on the Cregagh estate to a life of fame, fortune and controversy, this story has it all.

Combining the talents of two of Northern Ireland’s most popular playwrights Marie Jones and Martin Lynch with the superb songwriting talents of Glasgow’s JJ Gilmour and Belfast’s Pat Gribben, Dancing Shoes is packed with great characters, beautiful songs and trademark Belfast humour.
