Lorraine Walker was among 10 finalists in the style stakes at this year’s Summer Festival.

However, Lorraine was pipped at the post during the final judging stages by Armagh’s Riona Corrigan (29) who scooped the top prize of a luxury trip to Rome

A panel of three judged the competition run in association with Lexus Belfast, part of the Charles Hurst Group.

Lexus Belfast’s Jonathon Lavery said: “The effort made by everyone who took part in the Best Dressed Lady competition was outstanding, making it a tough decision to choose the winner.”

The Summer Festival came as Down Royal celebrates 330 years of racing at the venue, which recently underwent a multi-million pound refurbishment programme.
