Festive film favourites at RVACC

The Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre in Limavady is delighted to present a feast of festive family film screenings sure to get even the biggest Scrooge in the Christmas spirit.

On Saturday, December 7 at 11am comedy favourite Elf will be shown. After inadvertently wreaking havoc on the elf community due to his ungainly size, a man called Buddy (played wonderfully by Will Ferrell) who was raised as an elf at the North Pole travels to America in search of his true identity. A hilarious, modern classic for all the family to enjoy.

Then on Thursday, December 19 at 2pm Christmas classic Scrooged will be shown on the big screen. The magnificent Bill Murray stars in this modern loose adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol. Murray is the irascible and difficult Frank Cross, a successful TV Executive. Finding himself the annual Grinch, he is visited by the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future, who reveal a few home truths.

A hilarious classic, who can forget the remarkable performance by Carol Kane as the Ghost of Christmas Present? Admission for both showings is £4.
