'Finding James'

Margaret Elliott's son, James, drowned in the River Bush in August last year. James, was just 14. He was a keen footballer, and a pupil of Dalriada School.

His mother, and his sister, have since put their grief into good

effect, and have become volunteers with the Bann Community

Rescue Service.

Portstewart film maker Paddy Trolan is behind the documentary,

which will be shown on UTV next Tuesday night at 11pm.

Last year Paddy's documentary about his childhood friend Aaron Lundy was screened on UTV. The documentary, titled 'After Aaron', helped to raise awareness of the charity CRY, and Paddy is hoping that his newest

creation will do the same.

He told The Times: "I made the film, 'Finding James' as part of

my dissertation for my Masters Degree.

" I spotted the story about Margaret volunteering in The

Coleraine Times, so I decided to get in touch with her.

"Margaret is a very brave woman. She is really eager to promote

the work of the rescue service. It was a very difficult subject

for her to talk about and I am very grateful to Margaret for taking part."

Paddy is delighted that UTV have agreed to show the documentary:

" I just happened to send it to Michael Wilson, Head of UTV, and he agreed to show it, so I am really pleased.

"Hopefully it will have the same affect as the documentary about

Aaron, and raise the profile of the Community Rescue Service."
