Five arrests during major PSNI operation
Operation Hubble prioritised local policing priorities including tackling burglary, the misuse and distribution of illegal drugs and the threat posed by terrorists.
The arrests took place in the North area, which includes the policing areas of Mid and East Antrim, Antrim and Newtownabbey, Derry City and Strabane, and Causeway Coast and Glens.

Hide AdChief Superintendent Raymond Murray provided more detail on the outcomes of the operation: “Three properties were searched on Thursday (November 12) and three vehicles were seized by officers out on the ground.
“We also breath-tested three people and searched five others under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
“The aim of the operation was operation was to prevent, detect and deter crime with attention paid to travelling criminals and organised crime.
“Our aim is to keep people safe and we would like to thank the public for their support and patience during the operation.”

Hide AdChief Supt Murray concluded: “In the weeks ahead we will continue to provide a visible presence and would encourage the public to work with us and report any criminal or suspicious activity as soon as possible.”
