For trial on charge of cultivating cannabis
A 38-year-old man has been returned for trial to Newry Crown Court charged with cultivating cannabis at a house in Gilford.
Tomasz Kolaczyk, whose address was given as Tunnel Hill, Worcester, appeared at a preliminary inquiry last Thursday at Newry courthouse.
The charges against him allege that on September 2, 2011, he was unlawfully in possession of cannabis, he cultivated cannabis at High Street, Gilford and at the same address he diverted a quantity of electricity. He was remanded on his own bail to appear for arraignment at Newry Crown Court on October 13.
