A Lurgan man was fined £150 last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for a drugs offence.
Kenneth Fortune (35), Downshire Avenue, Lurgan, admitted unlawful possession of a class B drug, Mephedrone, on June 14 this year.
The court that police went to an address at Monbrief Walk and a small bag of white powder was found on the defendant.
Mr Pat Vernon, representing the defendant, said the drug was valued at £10 and was for Fortune’s own personal use. The defendant suffered from depression and was attending an addiction clinic.
