The funeral will take place tomorrow (Thursday) of the Markethill man killed in a hit-and-run collision on the Shillinghill Road, Armagh.
James Shields (52) was discovered fatally injured at the side of the road early on Monday morning.
The funeral will leave his home tomorrow at 11.30am for a 12 noon service at Cladymore Presbyterian Church, followed by interment in the adjoining churchyard.
Police have also renewed their appeal for information. Detective Inspector Colin Patterson said, “I would continue to appeal to anyone who was travelling along the Shillinghill Road before 7am on Monday, May 13 and who may have witnessed this incident, or anyone who has any information about it to contact police at Armagh on the non-emergency number 101.”
Mr Shields, who lived at Mowhan Road, is survived by seven brothers and sisters.
