GAA club unite against drugs

A NUMBER of GAA clubs in Lurgan are uniting to fight the growing drug problem in the town.

Eire Og, St Peter’s, Clan na Gael, St Paul’s and Clann Eireann are linking up to ensure a united front within the community to combat and curb drug taking, including the serious problem of mephedrone, affecting children within the community.

A drugs and alcohol awareness workshop covering signs and symptoms to spot in children will held on Saturday, April 10, in Clann Eireann from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
