Gallery: Carl Frampton proves a knockout at Essential Design Castledawson

Frampton is still basking in his recent success against Hugo Cazares at the Odyssey Arena and now preparing to take on WBC world super-bantamweight champion Leo Santa Cruz.

But the Tiger’s Bay boxer, who is managed by Barry McGuigan, took time out of his busy schedule to pay a visit to Essential Design Group for the launch of its new corporate structure and identity.

Essential Design Group, a leading manufacturer and supplier to the construction and fit-out sectors, has amalgamated its divisions under the brands of Essential Design Group in a bid to consolidate the Group’s activities and demonstrate to customers the complete package that the Group can offer.

The company began life in 2001 as Essential Joinery, with a talented team of skilled craftsmen creating bespoke joinery solutions for a wide range of applications.

Soon after, Essential Doors evolved from the Joinery company’s specialist knowledge in door manufacture. The division is now one of the largest and most technologically advanced door manufacturers in Europe, working for a prestigious list of clients across a wide range of sectors.

Essential Glass grew from the door division’s specialism in glazed panels for doors and now offers a full range of glazing solutions, from vision panels to full glass walls and design features.

With a depth and breadth of experience in joinery, door manufacture and glazing, the move into fit-out solutions was a logical next step and Essential Fit-Out was formed in November 2012, offering bespoke solutions across the retail, commercial, hospitality, healthcare and heritage sectors.

Now, Essential Design Group has been formed to bring all these disciplines under one, overarching brand with four divisions: Doors, Joinery: Glass and Fit-Out.

Group founder, Oliver Higgins, said: “Each one of our divisions is highly successful in its own right but we believe that, by bringing them all together under the Essential Design Group, we will open the door to more synergies, bigger and better opportunities and growth for the future.

“We’ve invested in establishing a new corporate identity for the Group and for each individual division and we have carried that forward into our company literature and a new web site. The exercise has given us a new vision for the future and we are hoping for more announcements soon.”
