Gang attack men and woman in car outside Cookstown takeaway
Police are investigating an alleged assault near a fast food outlet on the Sweep Road in Cookstown in the early hours of Sunday [January 24].
It was reported that four men attacked two men and a woman seated in a car in the area.
Const. Peter Hamilton said: “It was reported that during the incident 4 males exited a dark coloured Vauxhall Zafira and allegedly assaulted two other males and a female who were seated in another vehicle.
“It is thought the incident happened at around 2.15am.
