Taking up running can seem like a very scary prospect - especially if you feel out of shape or unfit - but Waves Leisure Complex has the ideal way to get you pounding the pavements in no time.
Waves fitness experts are running the NHS ‘Couch to 5k’, a plan designed to get you off the couch and gradually work you up to running 5k for half an hour in just 9 weeks - and they will be on hand every step of the way to give you the motivation you need to keep at it.
Regular running can help reduce the risk of chronic illnesses as well as boosting your mood and keeping your weight under control.
