“The group has been a roaring success since then`performing concerts and socials to the community and outlaying districts. Last year we took part in a Peace III Programme which was a big hit with the community.”
There are 30 members involved with Artists United and all participate in their own individual acts - each one encouraging and inspiring and giving confidence to each other.
“A few years ago we had a new member join our group - Noel James McClean from Waringstown. NJ had never sang his own songs in public before and to our amazement, a brilliant songwriter. It wasn’t long until he was in the studio and recording his first album CANDY APPLE RED. He has now finished of his second album MAGIC MOON and it will be launched in Gilford Community Club, on Saturday, June 20. Prior to the launch there will be a wine and cheese reception at 7.30pm.
