Good samaritans and emergency services praised after lorry overturns in Toomebridge

Two men who were in a lorry which overturned at a roundabout near Toomebridge have thanked the good samaritans who came to their aid.

David McDonnell and Liam McNally said they would like to thank everyone who helped after their livestock lorry overturned on July 4.

“Unfortunately we did not get the names of all who came to our assistance and therefore cannot thank you individually,” they said.

“Thanks also to the emergency services and staff at Antrim Area Hospital.

“We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation for help given.”
