Gospel singers share their experiences

ON Friday, September 24, commencing at 8pm, in Ballymoney Town Hall, two of Northern Ireland's well known gospel singers will be singing and sharing their life experiences, and how they respectively found new life in the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Firstly, Mrs Amy Roberts, a marvellous gospel singer will sing and share in her life story. Amy was born in Northern Ireland and was one of a family of eight children (six girls and two boys).

From a very young age her greatest dream and desire was to become a full time singer both entering and winning many talent competitions along the way.

In her teenage years, she started to live her young age dream by singing on the cabaret circuit in clubs and bars all throughout the UK as well as Germany and eventually Spain where she worked and lived for three years.

Amy ultimately achieved her lifelong ambition and the wealth accustomed to celebrity status but there was also a downside in Amy's life when she became very much dependant on alcohol.

So why don't you come along and hear her sing and share how she found new life in the saving grace of the Lord Jesus. Her singing bow is to praise, honour and glorify God.

Secondly, a man who hails from Coleraine and needs no introduction to the people of Ballymoney and beyond is that great musician and singer Mr Victor Hutchinson.
