The group departed for the French capital yesterday, with an itinerary including recitals in Notre Dame cathedral and La Madeleine church.

“We travel to the Somme on Saturday and will be singing in the American Cathedral on Sunday morning,” said Edward Craig, head of the school’s music department.

“We sang a short anthem I composed and dedicated to the memory of the fallen, both in Paris attacks and The Somme, which seemed appropriate.”
