"The importance of agriculture to Strabane District cannot be underestimated. It provides valuable income and economic spin-off effects to the many smaller towns and villages in the Strabane District. The sector is stronger than many suggest, farm sizes have got larger and it does provide a good source of activity. It also has the potential to be a major exporter. This funding will be a vehicle for further regeneration in this area.

Information sessions will be held in the Dennett Interchange, Brook Road Dunamanagh on Monday 21 June 2010 from 7pm – 8pm. A further session will be held on Tuesday 22 June 2010 in the Newtownstewart 2000 Centre, Newtownstewart from 7pm - 8pm and thereafter on Monday 28 June 2010 in the Derg Valley Leisure Centre, Castlederg from 7pm – 8pm.
