The Portadown man has co-invented Boosted Tea - a range of drinks that are low in calories but high in goodness.

“My business partner and co-founder of Boosted Tea, Arin Cubuk, and myself came up with the idea about a year ago when we discovered a big gap in the market for a product like the one we have developed,” explained 19 year old Jamie.

“The drinks that are currently on the shelves contain excessive amounts of sugar and are very high in calories.”

The former Portadown College pupil didn’t waste time in creating something new that would offer people the chance to improve their lifestyle with a bottle of tea:

“Our aim was to develop a product that not only tasted great but also had a positive impact on your body. Our product is very low in calories and contains vitamins and other healthy ingredients which give a boost to your body.”

The Boosted Tea range currently consists of three different and delicious flavours - the berry-infused Metabolism Booster, the apple and rooibus Antioxidant Booster, and the elderflower-filled Immunity Booster.

Jamie and Arin have been showcasing their new range across the UK and are excited for budding health fans to add Boosted Tea to their daily routines.

“We have been and intend to continue attending every trade show we can across the UK and Europe,” Jamie shared.

“We worked with a company in England and we developed the flavours and got them brought to life. It has been a long process between developing ideas and achieving the finished product - with a lot of failed ideas and mistakes along the way. With the help of distributors, we aim to deliver across Northern Ireland and, in the coming months, into the UK.”
