Jewellery taken and house ransacked during burglary

A quantity of jewellery has been stolen during a burglary in Ballyhannon.

Sometime between 11am and 10pm last Friday, entry was gained to a house in Ballyhannon Grove.

A number of bedrooms were ransacked and a quantity of jewellery taken. The jewellery included a 9ct gold Albert Chain bracelet with a safety chain padlock, a 9ct gold Belcher chain necklace T Bar with a blood stone fob, a 9ct gold fancy link chain necklace, a 9ct gold locket on a gold chain, a Maurice Lacroix watch and white gold earrings with a small diamond in the middle.

Sergeant Barbara McNally said, “We would like to hear from anyone who has information in relation to this burglary or the whereabouts of the jewellery.

“We can be contacted in Portadown on 101, quoting ref: 1210300115.”
