Jump! Marlene’s ‘Big Skydive’ for NSPCC funds

Ballymena woman Marianne Darragh is taking part in NSPCC’s ‘Big Skydive’ this week to raise much-needed funds for local services.

Ballymena woman Marianne Darragh (right) who is taking part in NSPCCs Big Skydive to raise much-needed funds for local services.

The event, which takes place on October 4 and 5 at sites across the UK, will help raise money to fund the NSPCC’s work with vulnerable children.

Marianne, aged 37, and her skydive teammates work in the NSPCC Foyle team and know how vital the funds raised will be.

She said: “NSPCC’s vision and the services they provide are something that I very much believe in. No child should have to suffer abuse and I wanted to challenge myself with something significant enough to demonstrate how I feel about this. The team and I are looking forward to doing something worthwhile, that helps to raise awareness and valuable funds for children.”
