Larne is home to NI's 'most haunted house'

HAUNTED derelict houses, spooky museums and ghostly hotels - if you are looking for a fright this Halloween, Larne has it all.

Just ask the crack team of ghost hunters, Paranormal Ulster, who are experts at catching things that go bump in the night.

The motley band of psychic detectives, who are celebrating their third anniversary as a group this year, have carried out multiple investigations in the local area with their unique brand of ghostbusting.

Combining scientific and spiritual methods to achieve its goals, the team has spent the night at some of the spookiest buildings around, including Ballygally Castle and Larne Museum.

But hidden at the end of a long, winding lane just off the picturesque Coast Road, lies what the ghost hunters claim to be one of the most haunted buildings in Northern Ireland - the once-grand and regal Cairndhu House.
