Dance classes for all ages and all abilities are being run by Richmount Rural Community Association.

Professional tutors Kim Bailie and Lyndsey Courtney will be teaching a range of ballroom dances including waltz and jive.

The classes will take place at the Richmount Centre on the Derrylettiff Road and are the perfect opportunity for people who have always wanted to dance properly but have never learned.

They are suitable for complete beginners to those who want to improve their existing skills.

Classes began on Thursday, October 6 and will run for 13 weeks at 7.30pm.

The cost is £3 per session or £30 for the complete course. The classes are being subsidised by a grant from the Big Lottery, Awards for All.

The health benefits of dance include reducing stress and helping the heart.
