DUP MLA Carla Lockhart is engaging in a round of community meetings to encourage local communities to ensure they are registered to vote.
The Upper Bann member is also meeting with the Chief Electoral Officer to discuss why so many people were removed from the register between May 2016 and March 2017.
The two major events which will be held in Brownlow House on April 18 and Banbridge Orange Hall on April 19 run from 7-8.30pm.
Ms Lockhart said, “It became apparent during the election campaign that a lot of people had been needlessly removed from the electoral register. I would encourage people to come along and I will assist them with any issues around the voting process but also to discuss issues within the community which need addressed.”
Alternatively people can contact Carla personally to obtain a registration form or contacther office on 028 3831 0088 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
