A number of community groups have been awarded Big Lottery grants in the latest round of awards.
Portadown Widows Group will use the £6,770 grant to support women following bereavement to reduce loneliness and isolation.
It is planning a year-long programme of weekly activities such as jewellery making, dancing, armchair aerobics, boccia, healthy eating and gardening.
They are also organising a Christmas dinner and social events for members.
Kindred Spirits, which received a £7,900 grant, provides a range of social opportunities and activities for the over 50s in the wider Gilford district. It will use the grant to fund a programme of yearly activities including outings, dance classes, flower arranging, art and craft classes.
South Lough Neagh Regeneration Association, a cross community group based in Maghery, received a grant of £8,049 to refurbish a reception area so it can be used for meetings, training workshops and community events.
