A Lurgan woman was put on probation for six months last Wednesday at Craigavon Court for a shoplifting.
Lynette Devlin (30), Toberhewny Lodge, Lurgan, admitted stealing grocery items valued at £50.80 from Tescoon March 4 this year.
The court heard that at Tescos in Highfield she was seen failing to scan two items and there were also items concealed under a coat in her trolley.
The case had been adjourned from a previous court so that a short sentence report could be obtained to see if she was suitable for probation.
Mr Gabriel Ingram, representing the defendant, said she had obtained a part-time job with a taxi firm which would bring extra money into the house.
