This was part of the theme of the final service he conducted in Magherafelt Methodist Church last Sunday (June 23).
Young people from Magherafelt Young Performers’ Society, along with junior members of the congregation, joined together to participate in the service praising and thanking God with special music, singing and readings.
All of the hymns and choruses were chosen from ‘Singing The Faith’ - the new Methodist Hymn book.

“We wish him well in his new posting to Dundonald Methodist Church. Our loss is Dundonald’s gain,” said the spokesperson.
The Magherafelt congregation look forward to the arrival of his successor Rev June Parke, who will conduct her first service in Magherafelt at 10am this Sunday (July 7).
Everyone is welcome to attend.
