Man almost fell out of his car in Dungannon when stopped by police for swerving

The man, who was said to be swerving all over the road, was stopped by officers in the early hours of Thursday morning.

A breath test while in custody showed him to be three times the legal drink drive limit.

“We opened the driver’s door to speak with the driver, and he almost fell out of the car!” said PSNI Dungannon on their Facebook page.

“He was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit.

“In custody, he provided a lower reading of 104 micrograms per 100ml of breath, three times over the legal drink drive limit. He was kept in one of our cells until he was sober enough to be charged to court.”
