A 56-year-old man was banned from driving for six months on Friday, December 19, at Craigavon Magistrates Court being drunk in charge of a car.
Algirdas Kvedarauskas, Mahon Court, Portadown, was also fined £300 and ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.
The court heard the offence happened on November 22 at Esky Drive, Portadown.
Police were notified by a member of the public about a man who appeared to be drunk getting into a car.
He was attempting to start the car and the member of the public took the keys from the ignition.
A preliminary breath test gave a reading of 111 and an evidential test gave a reading of 114.
Imposing the ban District Judge, Mrs Bernie Kelly, said it was a very high reading.
