Man faces trial on charges


A 22-year-old man has been returned for trial to Craigavon Crown Court on a series of charges including possession of drugs and supplying them.

Ryan Pepper, no fixed abode, appeared last Wednesday at a preliminary enquiry in Craigavon Magistrates Court.

He is charged that between March 11, 2014, and March 13, 2014, he entered as a trespasser a dwelling at Westland Road, Portadown, and stole a copper water tank and piping.

It is also alleged that on March 13, 2014, he stole protein powder and an energy shot, valued at £72.97, from Holland and Barretts.

He is further accused that on March 14, 2014, he had unlawfully in his possession a class B drug, Methyletheathinone.

As well Pepper is charged with unlawful possession of Methylone on the same date and having it with intent to supply.

He is accused on possession of a class B drug, Fluoromethcathinone, on March 14 last year and also with intent to supply the drug.

Pepper was remanded in custody to appear for arraignment at Craigavon Crown Court on October 22.
